On November 30, 2012 Kate del Castillo was joined by the Los Angeles Police Department, the Central American Consulates, and the National Day Labor Organizing Network (NDLON) to discuss the needs of immigrant women who report domestic violence and gender-based violence. The event was hosted by the Justice for My Sister Collective at the Maya Angelou High School in South LA.
